I run around the university even in the rain. Now I love running, but when did this start?
The process was actually: running → gaining knowledge → developing a liking for it.
My research followed a similar pattern: conducting research → gaining expertise → developing a passion for it. In other words, diving in to learn the content first is correct from a behavioral economics perspective.
Action comes first; liking it comes later.
